How much will the Time Garden cost and how is it being paid for?

The project will be entirely funded from generous donations made to Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity. We’re thrilled that half of the £600,000 needed is already in place, thanks to the generosity of recent gifts in Wills. The Charity is launching a specific Time Garden Appeal in October 2025, asking for the public’s support to raise the remaining £300,000 needed for the build.

What if the Charity doesn't reach the target or raises more than is needed?

In the unlikely event that we don't reach the target required or are unable to proceed with the build for any other reason, all donations specifically given for the Time Garden, will be used for the benefit of end-of-life care for patients at Ipswich Hospital. In the event that more money is raised than is required, any surplus will be used for the benefit of end-of-life patients at Ipswich Hospital.

How do I get in contact with the Charity team about my donation?
