Family Fun Day Supports CONI Families at Ipswich Hospital Families supported by the Care of Next Infant (CONI) scheme at Ipswich and Colchester Hospitals will benefit from an incredibly generous donation following a community fundraising event held earlier this year. Jayne, Steve and their family, organised a Family Fun Day at their farm in Brightlingsea, with the aim of raising funds to support the local CONI team and promote awareness around SIDS. Wanting to help provide families with greater reassurance and access to equipment, Jayne reached out to the manufacturer Owlet to enquire about purchasing baby monitoring systems for donation. In response, the company offered an incredible donation, which enabled Jayne to secure a significant amount of equipment. Her efforts led to the donation of 30 Owlet Dream Sock Monitors and 5 Nanny Baby Breathing Monitor Advanced Sensor Mats to the Neonatal Outreach and CONI Team at Ipswich Hospital. These devices will be used to support families whose babies are part of the CONI scheme, offering additional peace of mind during what can be an anxious and emotional time. The family shared that they hope this donation, along with the awareness raised through the event, will help highlight the essential role the CONI scheme plays for local families. She and her family have also expressed their intention to continue supporting the scheme and raising awareness in the future. The Neonatal Outreach and CONI Team are deeply grateful for this thoughtful donation and the positive impact it will have on the families they care for. Manage Cookie Preferences
