This November, two friends, both called Chloe, decided to put on a cake sale at Ipswich Hospital in aid of Breast Care Services and Cancer Care Services. The wonderful spread of cakes and bakes saw incredible popularity among staff, patients and families.

A wonderful selection of cakes and many visitors later, saw the cake sale raise an incredible £1,035.3!

Cloe Smith, a nurse in profession, was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer this year at the age of 35. Having been a nurse for 10 years, she wanted to give a little something back to the teams who have diagnosed her and began her treatment within 10 days.

What an amazing achievement, raising such a fantastic total and completely selling out! The funds raised will truly make a difference and support others who are going through similar experiences.
