TCS London Marathon 2027 Take on the Challenge of a Lifetime Applications open for our 2027 TCS London Marathon charity places at 8am on Sunday, 26 April 2026! We’re thrilled to offer 4 exclusive charity places for the 2027 TCS London Marathon. Whether you’re an experienced runner or taking on your veryfirst 26.2 miles, we would love you to join Team Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity. Key Dates: Applications open: Sunday 26 April 2026 Applications close: Sunday 28 June 2026 Successful applicants contacted: Wednesday 1 July 2026 To apply for one of our charity places, please complete the form by Sunday 28 June 2026. What you need to know: Registration fee: £50 Minimum fundraising target: £2,200 You must be aged 18 or over on race day Our charity places are for Sunday 25 April 2027. We're awaiting further information for the potential of Saturday places also. We will provide updates as we get them. We’re looking for passionate supporters ready to take on this iconic event to help make a real difference to patients, families, and staff across our hospitals. Whatever your ability, if you want to run in the marathon, we want to hear from you. We welcome everyone to apply. When you apply, tell us why you would love to run for us, why you support our work, and how you plan to reach your fundraising £2,200 fundraising target or more. The more detail you can give, the better! Whether you're an experienced runner, or embarking on your first marathon, we'd love to hear from you. Already have a place in the marathon? If you are lucky enough to secure your own place through the public ballot for the 2027 event, you can still run for us and we’d love to have you on the team. However, we will pass your charity place onto another charity applicant. There’s no minimum sponsorship target for ballot place runners, but we encourage you to raise as much as you can to support patients, families and staff across our hospitals. By choosing to support us, you’ll be helping to fund life-changing equipment, enhance patient environments, and support wellbeing initiatives that go above and beyond NHS funding and which make such a difference to health and healing.
